The Soldiers Behind Duke Nukem Forever

Category: DNF
by Yatta, on Wed Jan 13 2010, 02:40AM

Former 3D Realms employee and Duke Nukem Forever art director Tramell Isaac has updated his blog once more to talk about his last days at the company.  While some may not share his forgiving views on (allegedly) failed 3DR CEO George Broussard, it is as always evident that the employees at 3D Realms were tough, talented, and dedicated members of a diligent development team that faced an unfortunate end.  Isaac reinforces this best in the following quote:

NO ONE gave up. Not a single person on that team wanted it to end, let alone end the way it did. As a matter of fact I know for sure that many people made sure that they wrapped up what they were working on and checked their data in before leaving that very day. Not because they were told to but because they cared about the project. They respected DNF enough to leave it with pride.

Well said, Tramell;  I think I speak for the entire community when I say that our best wishes go to all the former 3D Realms employees who worked on Duke Nukem Forever, and who are now flourishing at their new places of work.
